75% fuel reduction
We believe in renewable energy and therefore strive to use as little fossil fuel as possible. This is why we equip every new ship with energy efficient hybrid engines. For surveying purposes, this can mean a 75% fuel reduction. And this saves our customers money.
Noise reduction
The noise from ships imposes a threat to underwater sea life, especially to marine mammals like seals and whales. Therefore our modern surveyance vessel are designed to produce significantly less sound than conventional ships. But this innovation led to an unexpected advantage: the results from our sensors were dramatically improved. It turned out that using older ships, with more noisy engines had a negative impact on the surveyance data.
