The Geo Connection was operational for a long term contract for NMDC in Abu Dhabi.

For five years, NMDC has been working on the Zakum artificial islands. The four islands are located in an offshore oil field with a depth ranging from six to thirteen meters. Geo Plus is specialized in working in shallow water.

The multipurpose vessel Geo Connection, built in 2010, is equipped with EM 3002D multibeam Kongsberg.
