Since the beginning of 2014 until te middle of 2015 the Geo Motion was operational near Den Helder for surveying. This was done for a project to reinforce and maintain the Hondsbossche and Pettemer Sea Defence from Petten to Camperduin, the northern stretch of the Dutch coastline. This was a project of the combination Van Oord/Boskalis.
The project is part of the second national High Water Protection Programme.

The Geo Motion multipurpose survey vessel is equipped with the hull mounted Kongsberg multibeam EM 2040. This multibeam has a dual head 0,4° beamwidth. Untill july 2014, the Geo Motion was assisted by our survey vessel Geo Explorer.

For quick mobilization, the vessel is equipped with hoisting eyes. Cradles are available to transport the vessel on short notice to all destinations around the world.
